Terms of use
The short, plain terms on which this site is provided.
Last updated 5 September 2026.
Accepting these terms
By using LiveCount you accept these terms. If you do not, please stop using the site. We may revise them; the date above says when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revision.
The numbers are estimates
This is the most important term on the page. YouTube does not publish exact subscriber counts, so every count, growth rate, projection, milestone date and piece of written analysis on this site is an estimate produced by our own model, described in full on the methodology page. Nothing here is a statement of fact about a channel’s true subscriber number, and nothing here is a prediction of the future.
Do not rely on these figures for commercial decisions, sponsorship valuations, contractual terms, or anything else where being wrong costs money. They are published for interest.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
scrape, crawl or automate access to the site beyond ordinary browsing; attempt to disrupt or overload it; circumvent rate limits; misrepresent our figures as official YouTube data; or use the site in a way that breaks the law where you are.
You may quote our figures elsewhere provided you attribute them to LiveCount and describe them as estimates.
Accounts
An account is optional and exists only to sync your tracked channel list. Sign-in is by emailed link, so there is no password to protect — but keep access to your email account secure, since anyone with it can sign in as you. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service. You can have your account and its data deleted at any time by emailing support@livecount.space.
Advertising
The site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are labelled and are kept out of the way of the content; we do not ask anyone to click them, and clicking one never benefits you. What advertisers may collect, and how to limit it, is set out on the privacy page. Personalised advertising is off unless you have explicitly allowed it, and you can change that choice at any time from the link in the footer.
Intellectual property
Channel names, avatars, subscriber counts and view counts originate from the YouTube Data API and remain the property of their respective owners; they are used here to report on public channels. The statistical model, the projections, the written analysis, the site design and the code are ours.
If you are a channel owner and want your channel removed from this site, email support@livecount.space from an address associated with the channel and we will remove it. If you believe something here infringes your rights, tell us what and why at the same address and we will act on it promptly.
Availability and liability
The site is provided as-is. It depends on the YouTube Data API and on a daily API quota, and it may be unavailable, incomplete or out of date without notice. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Not affiliated with YouTube
LiveCount is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to YouTube, Google LLC, or any channel featured on it. “YouTube” is a trademark of Google LLC.
