The short version
You can use this site without an account and without telling us anything. If you make an account we store your email address and the list of channels you track, and nothing else. What we store
- If you sign in: your email address, and the channels you track. The email address is used to send you the sign-in link and to identify your account. There is no password, so there is no password to lose.
- If you don’t sign in: the channels you track are kept in your own browser’s local storage. They never reach our servers, and clearing your browser data removes them.
- Channel data — subscriber counts, view counts and the readings behind them — is public YouTube information about creators, not about you. It is shared across everyone who uses the site and is not linked to you.
Who processes it
Accounts and channel data are hosted on Supabase (EU region). The site itself is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses.
Advertising
This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and may collect data as described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can turn off personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices. If you are in the EEA or UK you will be asked for consent before any personalised ad cookie is set, and you can change that choice at any time.
What we don't do
We don’t sell your data, we don’t share your email with anyone, and we don’t run analytics or tracking pixels of our own.
Getting your data removed
Email support@livecount.space from your account address and we will delete the account and everything attached to it. Deleting the account removes your email address and your tracked list; the public channel data stays, because it was never yours.
